Education

Diploma in Classical Animation at Vancouver Film School
August 8, 2022 - August 12, 2022
Completed a 12-month intensive program focused on classical animation, which teaches animation principles and timing through paper animation and then moves to 2D software, rigging, and building assets for animation. Learned the entire animation pipeline, gaining experience with everything from concept to storyboarding to compositing. The final project was set up to mimic a fast paced studio environment and deadlines were always made.
Art Fundamentals Certificate at Sheridan College
September 13, 2021 - May 27, 2022
Completed the Art Fundamentals course, which offered classical instruction in the fundamentals of art such as: life drawing, painting, sculpture and pottery, woodworking, 2D design and technical drawing. Became very familiar with the entire Adobe suite to better create vectorized artwork among other things.

    2D animated slice of life music video that follows a group of teens navigating their nightlife, and their emotions. Hired my artist “the Idea of Machines”. Created by me from concept to compositing. Features smooth 2D animation of multiple characters in a scene, crowds, an animated vehicle and animated backgrounds.
