Hi, I'm Aubrey. I bring an artistic approach to visual communication and strive to create unique, flowing experiences on and off the screen. Over the last sixteen years I’ve had the opportunity to explore many of the different paths that can branch off from an art and design degree. I’ve agonized over logos. I’ve dug into browser developer tools trying to figure out that weird extra five pixels. I’ve made websites and business cards and spreadsheets. I’ve taken pictures, written headlines and driven to the printer for final press checks. I’ve gotten into the shoes of event planners imagining what would make my barricade fulfillment process more lovely. I’ve taken loads of content from the archives and assembled it into a navigable arrangement of webpages that spiked organic search rankings. I’ve learned that each character counts in google ad campaigns. I’ve taken ugly and uninviting and made it beautiful and engaging. I’ve worked directly for the CEO more than once, debated with creative directors about the real essence of bauhaus and picked up dinner for the team once 7:00 rolled around and it was clear no one was leaving anytime soon – all the while learning to keep calm and deliver. Whether it’s collaborating with designers, hatching plans with Directors or distilling a C-level vision into actionable steps, we all want to connect and be understood. I strive to create open lines of communication across teams and make sure everyone’s goals are accomplished. I can establish the high level vision and I have the experience to make sure the concept is being executed to its full potential. I know visuals, copy and marketing strategy and how it all feeds back into customer perception.

Hi, I’m Aubrey.

I’ve taken ugly and uninviting and made it beautiful and engaging. uniE621 Branding and Web Design for South Shore Custom Builders
Peter Stromberg and his Uncle Louie Demeo have each been in the business of building custom homes in California and Hawaii for the past three decades. Recently they teamed up to form South Shore Custom Builders, a high end, craftsman-style building company focused on new residential builds in South Lake Tahoe. They’ve built their reputation over the years by consistently designing and building luxury homes that sell quickly and gain tremendous value over time. My task was to translate their unique building style and location to a logo and marketing materials that would speak to new clients. I used a roofline from an actual build, which, at the angle the photo was taken, also looks like three mountain peaks. Steep rooflines are a given in high elevation climates so the finished mark speaks to the architectural style in South Lake Tahoe, the surrounding landscape and the building style of the company. The website features what most portfolio style websites feature – pictures! A lot of builders will feature exterior photos, and I used those too, but I’m thinking if I’m looking for a builder, I want to see the inside. I want to walk into my new home, get a feel for finishes, and see some craftsmanship. On this website I don’t just want to sell “building” I want to sell “home.” I chose Squarespace to build the site. It seems to be the most client-friendly platform I have used. Take a Tour – southshorecustombuilders.com I also do photography and create marketing materials for South Shore Custom Builders. photography logo graphicdesigner branding webdesigner
