Balaya is a private resort with 5 individual villas and common spaces situated in a 2,800 sqm property in Bacolor, Pampanga. The concept behind the project are the elements of heritage houses which Pampanga is known for. The property was divided into 3 zones; Salubong-which means to welcome, Salu-salo-to get together, and lastly, Panuluyan-lodging area.
The proposed design for this one bedroom condominium unit is to create a relaxing ambiance amidst the busy streets of of Makati CBD. The unit is anticipated to accommodate a maximum of 3 people. The proposed design tries to play with natural tone colors and experiment the effects of both natural and artificial lights to create a mood in the space. The use of green accents and fabrics is suppose to create a fresh mixture with the wood elements and matte textured wall.
