I'm a British/Spanish editor and director with over 20 years of experience. After completing my MA in Filmmaking in Spain, where I specialised in editing and directing, I moved to Munich to undergo a placement in Film Production at the Bavaria Film Studios; I then trained as an Avid Media Composer Editor and worked for the next 5 years in different productions, ranging from TV documentaries to corporate and travel videos. I also worked as a Camera Assistant (Betacam and DigiBeta), a job that took me to exotic places, Champion’s League games, concerts and TV sets. In 2004 I moved again, this time to London, and worked in the training industry as Senior Video Editor until I started in 2008 my own Production Company, Long Shot Media Ltd. During the next 15 years and under the banner of LSM, I edited (and often shot and directed) hundreds of videos, documentaries and commercials in the UK, Spain and Germany, for distinguished clients, including BBC, Glasshead, the European Medicines Agency and Save the Children to name some. I'm proficient in Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, DaVinci and FinalCut 7. I also have experience in sound editing/design, animation and Color Grading.
