Birgitta Abeysekra

I am a Malaysian music producer, composer, arranger, music director, and keyboardist based in Kuala Lumpur. I specialise in live shows, studio productions, theatre, broadcast, and commercial music, bringing together creative musical direction, thoughtful arrangements, and strong performance leadership. I enjoy preparing scores, click tracks, sequences, and sound designs that help artists and production teams deliver polished and engaging work.

My experience includes music direction for major corporate celebrations and gala events, theatre sound design, studio production, vocal editing, and live keyboard performance. I have collaborated with leading Malaysian artists as well as international performer Tiger Hu, and I am comfortable working across jazz, pop, ballad, fusion, and theatre projects. I also bring a practical, organised approach to team coordination, stage management, budgeting, and resource planning.
