Hi, I’m Brian Satterwhite, a composer, conductor, performer, author, teacher, and film editor based in Austin, Texas. I earned a B.M. in Film Scoring and Composition from Berklee College of Music and have written music for more than 175 short and feature films, including Ride Around the World, The Lone Ranger, Sushi: The Global Catch, Boneyard Alaska, The Mark of War, The Next Kill, Killing Ed, Switch, Man on a Mission, Artois the Goat, among others. I’ve also contributed orchestrations on Krampus and The Way Home, conducted studio recordings in Austin and Los Angeles, and composed concert works for symphonic and chamber ensembles. I’ve written about film music for various publications and hosted radio programs, while teaching and curating silent-film scores across the country. I live in Pflugerville with my wife Maria and two sons, Holden and Maxwell.
