Dame Grant is a stand-up comic, actor and writer! Recently, Dame has appeared in the Illinois Lottery holiday campaign, a nationally-televised TD Bank commercial and can also be seen performing on various stages throughout the country ranging from the Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago to Flappers Comedy Club, a staple in the Los Angeles comedy scene and everywhere in between. Theatrically, Dame recently served as an understudy for the Jeff Award nominated play, “Botticelli In The Fire” with First Floor Theater and also understudied at the iconic Victory Gardens Theater with Pipeline Tour. Dame added producer to his credits with the creation of a recently completed short mockumentary surrounding the infamous summer 2016 Wisconsin cheese heist. Dame is a graduate of both The ACADEMY at Black Box Acting Studio and of The Second City Conservatory program along with additional improv training at the Annoyance Theater. When not performing live, Dame is host of the ABFF Comedy Festival selected podcast “The Broke Stops Here”. In 2024, Dame is touring his independently produced one-man show, A Small Town Black.
