    uniE621 UPAC Packaging - Brand Repositioning Strategy and Deployment
    Repositioning vs Rebrand. Sometimes, a company doesn't need to undertake a full-blown rebrand - a subtle repositioning will do. That's exactly what we did for UPAC. After undergoing a major rebranding exercise 10 years ago, UPAC approached me again, stating they were transitioning from a general packaging provider to that of a 'specialist bag and film supplier'. Their focus had changed, and their target market was evolving. They needed a brand that better reflected this new transition and product offering. Instead of overhauling the entire brand, we kept the essence of what already existed and manoeuvred it to better reflect who they are now. Two awesome components of the repositioning strategy were: 📦 Sub-brands We unified UPAC's range of product sub-brands to bring consistency and tie-in to the parent brand. 📦 Packaging We created a unified packaging approach for their carton packaging, ensuring that brand recognition remained strong when they shipped their products. The end result? A brand that better reflects UPAC's transition and product offering, while still maintaining strong equity in the market. With a dedicated focus on quality work and craftsmanship, they sought a revised brand identity that communicated their point of difference as well as the expertise they consistently delivered on projects. Focused on building lasting, professional client relationships, RCW were after a premium positioning that would not only reflect their quality but also set them apart in the competitive landscape. 🎆 Brand Ideation: Painting has impact both visually and emotionally.
