As a 25 year veteran in production I’ve had a chance to work with a lot of amazing people. What keeps me going is my love of the creative grind. My drive comes from the energy on a set and the hope that can be found in getting the perfect shot.
I’ve been often characterized as a technical ninja, someone who knows a lot about the little things. I have an excessive amount of knowledge about all of my gear, and you won’t catch me reading the manual in front of you. I have enough self-respect to stay up all night reading the manual before the shoot!
Everyone loves a good Story
I’m a storyteller at heart, with a diverse body of work. I still remember the first time I was handed a camera. The moment I pressed record, I was hooked. When I brought the footage into my computer for editing everything clicked—I knew this was my destiny.
I’ve spent my entire career as a perpetual student of the craft. Learning cameras, lighting, composition, audio, and editing has consumed my life. I’ve been mentored by amazing professionals, and I have mentored a few people myself. There’s always something to learn, and always someone to teach.
It all boils down to Sound
Audio is at the heart of everything I create. The success of every project I’ve produced has hinged on capturing high-quality sound, which is one of my core specialties. Whether on set as the “sound guy” or in post-production mixing and designing audio for documentaries and narratives, sound is where I thrive.
I’m a “crew guy,” you’ll find that I bring value across the entire set. I’m ready to help move cases, carry sand bags, load the van, hold a door, and be an all around helpful guy. You can even send me to get coffee.
Fix in Post
The process of editing, taking a mountain of content and extracting the story, is a challenge I love tackling. I’m adept at both the audio and video post production process for corporate, documentary, and narrative films. Crafting the story and getting it right is a skill I have developed over many years.
Topics I’ve covered include music, education, sports, disabilities, missionaries, and everything in between. Just last year, I produced a full season (18 Episodes) of a Spanish language show on Telemundo. Before that I produced an 11 episode documentaries series for a soccer team here in Indianapolis. And I made a film about a high school basketball team that won its first state tournament in school history. It turns out that people are a little bonkers for basketball here in Indiana!
The sorcery I provide is technical, and the skills I have are forged through hard work.

This is a short brand video for a residential remodeling business in central Indiana. I directed and did all the editing on this as part of a small series of videos for the client.
A feature documentary about a High School Basketball team winning their first state championship. This includes interviews with the players, mic’d up practices, court side coverage, and the locker room celebrations. It’s a fantastic demonstration of my skills as a documentary filmmaker. I directed the film, did all the location audio, and edited the film. It was posted online 3 days after the team clinched the title.
A brand video for a Metal Powder Technology company in central Indiana. Together with a talented DP, I produced all the interviews and managed all the broll capture. I even managed a couple interviews on green screen that had to be integrated. For that we shot background plates and composited the subjects in seamlessly. This was part of wider series of videos I edited for this client that covered there services in depth.
A history piece about a family owned fabric business celebrating their 125 year anniversary. We interviewed about 8 people for this project. I managed all the production and did the editing on this piece.
A story about one man’s motivation behind starting a martial arts gym. This is a great portrait of a man following his dream to help others learn martial arts. I assisted the director and did the final audio mix on this project.
A short film about a local church’s foster care outreach program. It follows a group of volunteers delivering furniture to a single mother. All the volunteers were mic’d up and the project captures some raw emotion and heartwarming interactions. I did all the production, location audio, and editing on this project.
This short film highlights the important work of a camp that supports adults with spinal cord injuries through community and resources. I did all the production and post production on this piece over the course of a couple years. The video is used as the “origin story” for why the founder started this amazing camp. Both interviews edited together beautifully to tell this story.
A video montage from the Spirit International Golf Championship in Texas. I was the lead editor on this project. There were 3 video shooters that captured footage during the weeklong championship. I managed all the footage and did quick turn onsite edits for social media and YouTube. This is the final montage, and includes clips from the championship, some sound bytes, and nat sound.
This is short historical documentary about a small church in central Indiana that was founded in the 1850’s. I directed and edited this piece. I conducted several interviews in the church, and brought in historical photos to tell the story. This video commemorated a special anniversary at the church.
