Brian Steckler is a film composer experienced in creating music and sound for Clio winning television commercials, writing and producing platinum selling major label songs, and composing award winning scores for feature films, documentaries, and television shows.
He most recently scored films for tubi.com (HUSTLERS TAKE ALL, DEADLY DILF) and Lifetime (THE SERIAL KILLER SEDUCED ME, A KILL FOR A KILL), and an independent feature film (SUNFISH (& OTHER STORIES FROM GREEN LAKE)) that was selected for the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. . He also scored the award winning documentaries HAND ROLLED: A FILM ABOUT CIGARS, and SUN, SOIL & WATER.
His work also includes the Netflix series THE DAY I MET EL CHAPO, and several other series where he provided the bulk of the music, including the Main Title theme: HUNTED (CBS), S.T.R.O.N.G. (NBC), ULTIMATE BEASTMASTER, AWAKE, COOKED WITH CANNABIS (Netflix).
A classically trained pianist, Brian is just as comfortable writing sweeping orchestral themes as he is laying down a funky drum groove. He excells at dark, tense, textural soundscapes as well as delicate, emotional melodies.
