I started out visualizing and storyboarding in house for a couple of ad agencies in London and Hong Kong while illustrating books on the side.
That got me laser focused on finding the key point to any scene, and conveying it convincingly and with emotional appeal.

Then I spent 8 years in Los Angeles freelancing for production companies and more ad agencies working on more commercials, tv shows and films. My lifelong interest in animation started to take hold.
I became efficient and fast, although as time went by I was working remotely more and more as the pace of vehicle traffic on the roads slowed to a crawl.
So now I work entirely remotely from my home in Santa Fe, NM where it is possible to drive faster than a walking pace. This is where I animate, illustrate, create motion graphics, draw storyboards and all sorts of other fun things to my heart's content.

I have 17 years of experience in animation for children tv shows, commercials, and games. I have been absorbed by managing roles in the past 9 years, as Animation Team Lead first and then Head of Animation whilst working for Gamesys. Throughout the time spent at Gamesys, the team I have line managed has grown from a small group of 4 to 30 and it included traditional animators, motion graphic designers, 3d generalists, character designers, digital artists and Sound Designers. With them I have worked mainly directing the animation of games, tv adverts and promotional trailers for the game launches. At times, I have had a more hands on approach when needed, as I am a traditional animator at heart. I often storyboarded the game trailers myself. I love working with people, I love seeing how they take on my direction and what they bring to the table, I have been lucky to work with incredibly talented artists on my journey so far and I am looking forward to what the future will throw at me.

I am a Polish artist based in Prague with experience across various artistic disciplines. My career began in art restoration and copy painting, and I later transitioned into digital painting, matte painting and animation through my work with the Oscar-winning studio Breakthru Films.
I hold a Master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, which I obtained in 2019. After graduation, I worked as an art restorer for approximately two years at the Corpus Christi Basilica in Cracow.
In 2021, I entered the film industry by joining Breakthru Films, a studio renowned for the Oscar-winning “Peter and the Wolf” and the Oscar-nominated “Loving Vincent”. My first project was the animated feature film “The Peasants” (2023), Poland’s official submission for the 2024 Academy Awards, which gained international acclaim. On this project, I worked as an oil-painting animator, matte painter, inbetweening artist, and inbetweening supervisor. I also played a key role in establishing the four distinct colour palettes - one for each season shown in the movie. I quickly advanced from a junior to a senior Photoshop artist, becoming one of the leading contributors in this field.
Following this, I joined the production of another animated feature, “A Winter’s Journey” (“Winterreise”), where I currently serve as a lead digital painter and animator. Additionally, I contributed background designs for the upcoming short animation “Timeless Chopin”, which was presented at the Polish Pavilion during Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai.
I am also working as a freelance 2D artist and illustrator contributing to many different projects like book covers (“The House of Noćević” by Gaelan Wort (second edition), “Briar’s Kiss” by Gaelan Wort (second edition), “Endless Manpower” by Guy Chet), children’s books (“Penny’s Plastic Problem” by Marine Mili, “H is for Grandpa” by Gator), educational books (“How Would You Like To Be Me” by Colin Darcy), music videos (“The Final Hunt” by Harrison Geary) etc. Most of those project are still awaiting their premiere (end of 2025 - first quarter of 2026).
