My name is Carlos Fernandes and I have been working in the creative area since 2009. Throughout my professional career I have had the opportunity to work very closely with different areas; I started my career in flash and animation, then I had a brief stint in frontend, and as a freelancer I managed to create my first projects as a Graphic Designer, in the last years I turned to UX Design which allowed me to explore various procedural aspects and include all my learnings in conception of my projects. My entire journey has transformed me into a versatile professional, which has helped me a lot to coordinate my work with clients, stakeholders, designers from other areas (motion, graphics, writing, etc.) and programmers.
Although I like the procedural part of design thinking, my favourite step is the visual part of UX/UI- Evolve a brand and give it enough flexibility to work with different needs, ensuring consistency and, finally, bringing it all together Design System. During this process I like to explore some market trends and include them in the evolution of brands. At the culmination of the visual designing process, I love prototyping my ideas and giving my pieces some interaction so that everyone can experience the look & feel long before the products are launched.

Our objective was to build a visually compelling, vanguard website that not only conveyed a futuristic aesthetic but also showcased the company’s expertise in data transformation. With a core mission of “Unlocking value through data,” the brand needed to communicate its capacity to turn data into actionable business solutions. We focused on crafting a unique typographic setting, an extended color palette, and distinct visual elements to represent each service area effectively. Additionally, it was crucial to establish foundational brand elements that would support this innovative, forward-thinking identity while aligning seamlessly with the company’s data-centric message.
As a newly established company in the competitive audiovisual industry, Visocare needed a website to showcase its founders’ deep expertise and establish a solid market presence. The goal was to create a professional, engaging platform that could communicate Visocare’s comprehensive services and solutions while driving growth for the company.
Cartão Jovem is a platform dedicated to the youth of Portugal, with the aim of offering solutions, partnerships and ideas that facilitate and support the lives of young people, while representing them. The focus of the project involved the renewal of the existing branding, as well as the creation of new communication strategies for advertising campaigns, partnerships, social media management, and presence at festivals.
Quinta Morazes, an estate based in the Azores islands, sought a digital platform to reflect its unique offerings in wellness tourism, retreats, and BnB services. The challenge was to create a brand ecosystem that captured the estate’s serene, natural environment and positioned it as a premier destination for wellness experiences while driving bookings and awareness.
