I co-developed and introduced five new digital product offerings to expand the company’s services from January 2019 to April 2022.
Problem
The company relied on direct mail marketing, severely impacted when COVID-19 hit in Q1 2020. Nearly 50% of clients canceled services, threatening survival. The challenge was to quickly find new revenue streams.
My Contributions
Leveraging my skills in customer acquisition and paid ads, I collaborated with the CEO to brainstorm digital marketing ideas. Based on the success of a digital offering via FB Ads in 2019, we identified a niche unaffected by COVID-19. I led a team to create four new offerings across SMS, Email, Digital, & Direct Mail.
Outcomes
The new offerings led to a significant turnaround. Between 2020 and 2021, we generated an additional $5MM in new revenue. This project saved the company during the pandemic and positioned it to thrive in the digital marketing space in 2021.
I was hired by Truist, a top 10 US commercial bank, to develop a Go-To-Market strategy and establish their affiliate marketing program, where the bank was lagging behind competitors.
Problem
The lack of an affiliate marketing program hurt Truist’s competitive position. The task required cross-collaboration with diverse teams and navigating a lengthy approval process in a regulated industry.
My Contributions
I led the project, leveraging my affiliate marketing and customer acquisition skills. I coordinated with teams to ensure alignment and compliance, keeping the project on track despite the complex approval process.
Outcomes
After a year of planning and coordination, we launched the affiliate marketing program with our flagship checking product. This enhanced Truist’s competitive standing and opened new avenues for customer acquisition, showcasing collaboration and my ability to drive results in a challenging environment.
