Hello! My name is Cal and I am a freelance filmmaker with over 7 years of professional experience. My journey in filmmaking started at the ripe age of 10 years old, using an old camera my dad passed down to me, capturing my friends skateboarding, skiing, and snowboarding. Fast forward 16 years and I have been able to work with multiple Olympic athletes, shoot for brands like Adidas, Ralph Lauren, and Bacardi, and even direct my very own independent short films. I pride myself on being a very versatile filmmaker. Although I started in sports, I quickly got into other genres like corporate, commercial, and documentary. I generally work as a one-man band and provide all of my own professional gear, but I always enjoy working with a team when I get the chance! My goals for 2024 are to make new and meaningful connections with clients and do more narrative and documentary work. --- I am a college graduate from The University of Utah class of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communications.
