Cameron M. Brown is a filmmaker, producer, and cinematographer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a recent graduate from Tulane University. He has directed seven narrative and documentary short films and recently worked as an Associate Producer on HBO’s environmental documentary The Welcome Table, releasing on HBO Max on June 23. Recent recognitions of his include five awards from the Tulane Student Film Festival as well as official selections from the 2024 and 2025 New Orleans Film Festivals. In 2024, he engaged in a four-month intensive production program at FAMU Film School in Prague, Czech Republic, and he currently works as an Intern for Josh Penn’s Serenade Films. Film and media’s ability to correct and subvert harmful narratives drives Cameron to create bold, emotionally true films that connect with his queer identity.
