I have worn many hats over the years in Los Angeles and now Phoenix for the last 6 years. I work as a producer/director/DP/camera op/editor working with clients at all stages of production. . For 5 years, I had been employed as a supervisor, project manager and senior event producer over various departments and AV events for the Arizona Cardinals Scoreboard Operations Department, now called Insignia Event Productions. This has included budgeting, quoting, rentals, hiring, crewing and overall event management. I have a large background in location video production, from documentaries and dramatic film shoots, commercials and infomercials, to segment packages for broadcast shows, VNR’s, sales & training programs, press junkets, as well as, news stories. Previously, I worked as a corporate producer/director for 5 years in which I created training videos for police and fire agencies. Many of these involved sensitive and secure situations utilizing guns, bombs, fire, chemicals, military vehicles and combat role-playing. As a result, I have a very high level of security clearance for shoots involving government officials and high security government installations. As a technician, I have been a DP and or camera op on scores of shoots at all levels of the aforementioned. I have worked well over 100 multi-camera events as a long lens or hand-held camera operator esp. for music concerts, NFL games and high profile corporate events. Other job duties over the years have included writing, interviewing and editing, i.e. writing corporate scripts, directing and interviewing untrained and trained talent and editing broadcast infomercial, commercial and independent theatrical pieces. Additionally, I have a strong background in sound acquisition and am very proficient with field mixers and wireless systems. As a still photographer, I have shot product photos, candid promos and headshot projects for many years starting with 35mm and migrating to DSLR’s and mirrorless cameras. And, I do post-production touch up of photos via Photoshop etc. Many projects have taken me around the world and most of those have required that I wear many hats to insure a successful outcome. Hence, I am well rounded and can seamlessly communicate with various departments of a production to ensure the client’s vision, budget and timeline are being met. To that end, I additionally provide a client with a host of skill sets to overcome the unforeseen obstacles and ever changing variables that invariably present themselves on sets and at events.
