Hi, I’m Can Bora Tanzer, an Istanbul-based composer, sound designer, and music supervisor. I create immersive soundscapes for film, games, and live events, working across more than 15 genres to support storytelling with original scores and sonic branding.
As the founder of Can Bora Tanzer Music Co., I have previously collaborate with brands and cultural institutions such as the Amazon Prime, United Nations, L’Officiel, Getir, TOGG, Borusan, VNL, Pininfarina, and TISK. My work has earned recognition at Kaş Film Festival and Indie Game Fest and has been featured on platforms like MUBI. I also wrote an orchestral piece for the Conquest of Istanbul celebrations performed by a 32-piece orchestra.

Tanzer is the composer and sound designer of the Nyctophile Studios game Death Relives. The game was published for all platforms on the 25th of July,2025 and is an official partner of Sony Playstation, Steam and Microsoft Xbox.
Can Bora Tanzer worked as the co-composer for the movie Karantina on Can Canel’s music team consisting of him, Can Canel and Deniz Aktaş. The movie required the blend of a fully orchestral and an hybrid approach.
Tanzer used Ableton to both compose and orchestrate the score.

Tanzer composed the music for the ad of the Turkish electric car ‘Togg’ on behalf of the celebrations of the 100th year of the Turkish Republic. Tanzer worked as the main composer on behalf of Tilde Sound Art.
Tanzer composed the music for the latest Nespresso TR ad directed by Efe Akdemir.
Tanzer composed music for London Fashion Week 25’ on behalf of Flair Fashion. He collaborated with designers such as Linxi Zhu, Psy Lau, Anna Cashmere and YKLLA, composing unique sound worlds for each. The collection required variety of music genres such as Trap, Down-tempo Electronic, UK House and Minimal Techno.
Tanzer worked both as the composer and sound designer for the film directed by Akim Laouar Aronsen.
Tanzer composed the music for ‘L’OFFICIEL HOMMES’ October 25’ edition video directed by Oğulcan Dumral and produced by Studio Ecrire.
Tanzer was the lead composer for the biggest show on the biggest stage ever built at Turkey regarding the celebrations of the 100th year of the Turkish Republic, produced by Imagina Productions.
Tanzer worked as the second composer and orchestrator for the ‘Artechouse’ project : ‘Twilight Zone: Hidden Wonders of the Ocean’ , on behalf of Tilde Sound Art in which he was supervised by Cihangir Aslan and Alican Okan.
The project highlights the awe-inspiring nightly migration of ocean twilight zone creatures and their intricate connections to the planet’s health, including helping regulate the earth’s climate. This groundbreaking exhibition offers a 24-minute cinematic journey enveloping the audience in immersive 270-degree projections that span from floor to wall, complemented by six interactive installations and six XR activations. Together, they create a rich exploration of the mysterious underwater world through a fusion of artistic and interactive expressions.
Tanzer composed for the movie ‘Kendi Saçını Kesen Berber’ directed by Özümcan Akın. The short film has started its festival journey at the beggining of Q1 2025, winning the ‘Audience Choice Award’ on this years ‘Sinepark Film Festival’. It has also been selected for this years ‘Kaş Film Festival’, one of the most prestigious film festivals in Turkey.

Tanzer composed the music for ‘Occhi Vuoti’ directed by Jerry Agbebaku. The music creates an abstract sonic world that represents what our main character Celine, goes through.
Tanzer was the composer for Vulture Works’ latest movie ‘Return of The Dark’ inspired by the character of the Wizarding World.
