I'm Carmen Mantica, a Nicaragua-based artist, illustrator, and writer who splits my time between Houston and Nicaragua. I work across painting, illustration, printmaking, mixed media, and graphic storytelling to explore narrative, emotional atmosphere, and visual experimentation through color and figurative imagery. Inspired by personal experiences, cultural identity, and the world around me, my emotionally driven work gives voices to stories and identities by weaving memory, place, and imagination into visually expressive scenes.
