I am Cyril BRIFAULT, an independent interior architect based in France. I specialize in materiality, light, proportions and spatial coherence, working across renovations, transformations of existing buildings, bespoke furniture, and scenography. I accompany projects from early design concepts through site supervision to final delivery, translating complex briefs into coherent, tactile environments.
In parallel, I develop a visual approach to architecture, interiors and urban spaces through photography. I use image editing and sequencing to convey atmosphere, rhythm and spatial intent, producing editorial reports and narratives for internal publications (including collaborations with the Colas Group).
The mission consisted in supporting the Cémavie Foundation to define a shared architectural charter for all its establishments, draft specifications for future facilities aimed at outlining a new model of nursing home, and create a scalable concept for all upcoming independent living residences.
Optician and eyewear stylist based in Nantes, Zinn offers high-quality, made-to-measure glasses. To showcase its range of sunglasses, Zinn entrusted me with the design of a dedicated display unit, integrated into the area of the boutique reserved for adults.
The entrusted mission, a truly exciting one, consisted in supporting Six Ares / Aventim (real estate development) in the architectural programming of its future headquarters, set within a 900 m² chapel undergoing rehabilitation. A parallel study was also conducted to identify a potential complementary activity (beyond office use) to be developed on a 200 m² floor of the building..
