I'm Bob Halligan Jr, a songwriter, musician, composer, and producer with a career spanning decades in the rock, Celtic, and Christian music scenes. My songs have been recorded by Judas Priest, Kiss, Joan Jett, Cher, Blue Öyster Cult, Night Ranger, Helix, and more, and I've produced and co-produced albums for my Celtic rock band Ceili Rain. I've spent over a decade teaching songwriting at Syracuse University, mentoring students in MUI 400, MTC 551, and other courses. Beyond writing and performing, I've created scores for silent films, written music for television pilots and commercials, and performed live with film scores at festivals. I enjoy sharing the craft with aspiring songwriters and performing for diverse audiences, from arena stages to cinema houses, and even a Papal event in 2015.
