Built an IoT-based ECG monitoring system using an ESP8266 microcontroller and EKG sensor module to acquire cardiac signal data and periodically transmit readings to a backend server. Designed a signal processing pipeline (notch filter, low-pass filter) to denoise raw ECG signals and extract characteristic waveform features, and implemented an R-peak detection algorithm to identify heartbeats in real time.
