As an innately curious person, I have always had an intense passion for learning and sharing facts, stories, and ideas. I am truly at my happiest when I am immersing myself across a wide range of subjects. Growing up, I became obsessed with research-driven video formats, such as long form documentaries (especially those by Louis Theroux, Vice, and Channel 5 [Andrew Callaghan]) and educational YouTube channels such as Kurzgesagt and Vox. With over 4 years of experience in neuroscience research, including time spent as a PhD student, I have developed advanced skills in sourcing, analysing, and synthesising complex information. I truly enjoy disseminating research findings and condensing complex facts and ideas into digestible, lay language. I chose to pursue neuroscience as it requires a deep and thorough understanding of many subjects; including biology, psychology, physics, sociology, economics, philosophy, and history. I would feel truly fulfilled working in a role that allowed me to continue researching across a wide range of disciplines. As an academic individual, I am highly detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and experienced in producing well-referenced research such as dissertations, presentations, and scientific papers.
