This collection of books was created while I was working with Goose Lane Editions and showcases my approach to bold, minimal design. The series demonstrates how I blend creativity with clean, purposeful visuals. The Six at Sixty collection (top left) was recognized with a Redgee Award for Best in Category, Print Media (Atlantic Provinces) in 2015.
The Brian Setzer Orchestra Live 12” EP was created as a special Record Store Day release to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary. Working closely with the record label, we developed a bold and energetic visual direction that captures the band’s distinctive flair and dynamic stage presence. Elements from this design were later adapted for a commemorative t-shirt and a promotional poster for a performance at the Hollywood Bowl.
SubTerrain Magazine dedicated its 84th issue to George Orwell’s 1984.
I was invited to create a series of visual pieces inspired by the novel, which were featured throughout the magazine. These are some of my favorite selections from that series.
Coastline Pizza approached me to develop a logo and branding for their signature Detroit-style pizza.
Inspired by the rectangular shape of the pizza and the “coastline” between the cheese and crust, I created a jagged rectangular frame that reflects both the product’s geometry and the negative space that defines its unique character.
NBCC’s Open House, held each fall and winter, is a key element of the college’s recruitment strategy.
The design goal was to create a standout visual system that could adapt across print and digital platforms in multiple sizes and formats.
The Dooryard Arts Festival is a celebration of music and art held annually in Woodstock.
Leaning into the event’s folksy charm, I developed a warm and welcoming visual identity that plays with the idea of the “dooryard” and translates seamlessly across various media formats.
Camel is an illustrated journal of narrative featuring short stories from authors across Canada. This project allows me to bring together multiple skill sets—creating a unique piece of artwork for each story, designing the magazine layout, and overseeing prepress and print production.
The 2023–2028 Strategic Plan was built around the theme Going Beyond, allowing us to extend the visual language established with the Mobile Training Centre.
We opted for a clean, minimal, and bold design that made the content easy to engage with while reinforcing the message of forward momentum and collective growth.
The University of Fredericton Brand Book was developed to introduce the refreshed brand and provide a clear framework for consistency across voice, tone, messaging, design, and photography, created using the university’s updated style of bold minimalism.
Funded through NBCC’s Going Beyond Capital Campaign, the Mobile Training Centre brings education directly to communities across the province, hosting courses ranging from Nursing to Welding. Our design approach for this project was bold and dynamic, reinforcing the message of progress and community growth.
The NBCC Viewbook is one of the college’s most utilized promotional tools. In close collaboration with the recruitment team, we developed an eye-catching and engaging piece designed to deliver essential information about NBCC and its programs to prospective students.
