Coraline Parmentier (1995-) is an intercultural pianist, youngest member of the APLP Artists for Peace (Canada). Since 2015, she has specialized in bridging East and West through music, creating original works that fuse world, contemporary, and traditional sounds with influences from the Middle East and North Africa. She was awarded the Public Peace Prize (Canada) for her commitment to social inclusion through eastern art. Her oriental piano album on Turkish keyboard, Kitab al Kanuz (Feb. 2025), was nominated at the Film Sync Awards 2025. The upcoming second opus, East Twist (Apr. 2026), will complete this two-part project, representing nearly twenty countries from the Middle East and Maghreb—ranging from world music to modern Arabic pop. Since 2019 she is also the titular pianist of Diwan Ensemble in Geneva, a specific orchestra for Mediterranean music (Middle-East, East of Europe, etc...). founded by respected maestro Francis Biggi. They collaborated many times with the arab pop duo Bedouin Burger for their common project Shawati.
