Product Showcase & Commercial Video (Wayfair)

This project involved editing a series of product showcase videos for Wayfair. The primary goal was to create a clean, premium aesthetic that highlights product details while maintaining an inviting, “at-home” atmosphere for potential customers.

    My Role & Responsibilities:

    • Video Editing: Crafting a seamless flow from raw footage, ensuring a balance between aesthetic appeal and product information.
    • Color Grading & Correction: Enhancing the visual clarity to achieve the bright, airy, and consistent look associated with the brand.
    • Pacing & Rhythm: Tailoring the edit to a calm yet engaging pace that aligns with the elegance of the furniture collections.
    • Upscaling & Optimization: Editing in high-quality 1080p then delivering 720p exports optimized for web platforms of the customer.

    Technical Specifications:

    • Software Used: Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / Photoshop
    • Format: Originally 1080p Full HD (then downgraded to 720p at delivery)
    • Category: Commercial / E-commerce Product Video
    Short-form Video (TikTok & Reels)

In the rapidly evolving landscape of social media, short-form video is the most powerful tool for engagement. This project is a selected collection of my work specializing in high-impact, vertical or square video content designed for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
My approach goes beyond simple cutting; I focus on creating a “hook” within the first seconds to maximize viewer retention and deliver a punchy, memorable experience.

What I Bring to Short-Form Projects:

    • Dynamic Pacing: Expertly timed cuts that follow the rhythm of the music and the natural flow of the narrative.
    • Trend-Conscious Editing: Leveraging current transitions, typography styles, and audio trends to ensure the content feels native to the platform.
    • Visual Storytelling in Seconds: Distilling complex ideas or long-form footage into concise, high-energy clips without losing the core message.
    • Advanced Motion Graphics & Text: Using engaging on-screen captions and subtle animations to highlight key points and keep the audience focused.
    • Color Grading for Mobile: Optimizing visuals to pop on smartphone screens, ensuring vibrant and professional-looking content.

    Featured in this Project:

    • Cinematic Fan Edits: Exploring mood and atmosphere through stylized montages (e.g., Dune, Euphoria themes).
    • Commercial Promos: Adaptations of brand content into fast-paced, vertical advertisements.
    • Entertainment & Series Highlights: Capturing the essence of popular shows through creative transitions and sound design.

    Technical Specifications:

    • Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (Vertical), 1:1 (Square)
    • Primary Software: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro
Outbreaker (Kitörő) | Narrative Short Film

Outbreaker is a diploma film created for the Lumiere Film School. It is a lighthearted yet suspenseful “caper” story that flips the script on the traditional house-invasion genre. Instead of a thriller, the film is an observational comedy of errors, told entirely from the perspective of an unlucky burglar.

    Logline
A professional heist becomes a clumsy struggle for survival when four friends arrive at their vacation house earlier than expected. The film follows the intruder’s increasingly creative (and desperate) attempts to sneak out undetected, while the girls go about their night, oblivious to their uninvited guest.

    My Role & Creative Approach:

    • Direction & Screenwriting: I aimed to create a “silent comedy” feel for the protagonist. My focus was on the physical humor of his stealthy movements and the situational irony of the scenes.
    • Tension with a Wink: While the stakes are high for the burglar, the tone remains playful. I used the spatial layout of the house to orchestrate “near-miss” moments that are as funny as they are tense.
    • Atmosphere: I balanced the warm, energetic vibes of a summer girls’ trip with the quiet, tip-toeing world of the intruder, using sound design to emphasize the contrast between their two worlds.

    Technical Specifications:

    • Role: Director / Co-Writer
    • Production: Lumiere Film School
    • Genre: Suspense Comedy / Caper / Drama
    • Software: Adobe Premiere Pro / Davinci Resolve
    Saltburn | Cinematic Teaser Trailer

This project is a fan-made teaser trailer for the film Saltburn. The goal was to capture the movie’s provocative and lavish atmosphere through a high-energy, music-driven montage. By recontextualizing the original footage, I aimed to build a rapid-fire narrative that emphasizes the film’s tension and aesthetic obsession.

    My Creative Approach:

    • Rhythmic Montage: The edit is heavily driven by the soundtrack, with every cut, flash, and transition synchronized to the musical beats to create a visceral viewing experience.
    • Visual Storytelling: I selected specific imagery to highlight the contrast between the film’s aristocratic elegance and its darker, more unsettling undertones.
    • Pacing & Tension: Starting with slower, atmospheric shots and building up to a frantic, fast-paced climax to keep the audience engaged.

What I Added to the Project:

    • Custom Sound Design: Beyond the main track, I layered subtle sound effects (SFX) to emphasize key movements and transitions.
    • Color Enhancement: Subtle adjustments to the grading to ensure a consistent and “moody” cinematic look throughout the teaser.

    Technical Specifications:

    • Software Used: Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe Audition
    • Genre: Fan Edit / Teaser Trailer
