Hired by the Senior Managing Director of the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector in the Americas to serve as the day-to-day client contact for Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies including Takeda and Pfizer and health insurers such as Humana and Cigna. Supported more than 10 healthcare and biotech companies through the development and execution of strategic COVID-19 communications plans during the pandemic. Key responsibilities and achievements:
Conducted stakeholder research and analysis to inform comprehensive, tailored communication strategies that addressed client challenges, capitalized on opportunities and achieved business objectives
Created and executed high-impact thought leadership campaigns for C-suite executives, including CEOs, CHROs and CFOs, elevating their visibility and establishing them as industry experts through targeted media placements, speaking engagements including podcasts, webinars and live events and bylined content
Secured client media placements in top healthcare outlets including BioPharma Dive and STAT News by building relationships with trade journalists and positioning clients as go-to sources for industry insights and commentary
Contributed to new business development, created proposals and delivered presentations to potential clients to showcase the healthcare team’s strategic approach and track record of success
Developed a wide range of written materials, including press releases, backgrounders, talking points, FAQs, fact sheets, blogs, op-eds and presentations to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all client channels
Provided strategic counsel to clients in crisis preparation and management (including drug recalls), developed crisis communication plans and delivered rapid response guidance to protect reputation and business operations
