    Worked in a small team to build information products in the form of dashboards.

    The system includes dashboards for:

    • Rainfall
    • Dam Levels
    • River Flows
    • Disaster Management
    • User Management
    • Water Monitoring Networks
    • etc.

    The system was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, python, C# MVC and .NET framework, with Microsoft SQL Server as the database engine.
    There are a couple of integrations with source systems with the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) which are in use. These include:

    The system includes dashboards for and integration with:

    • Water Management System (WMS)
    • Electronic Water Use License Application and Authorisation System (e-WULAAS)
    • National Hydrological Services - Surface Water (Data, Dams, Floods and Flows). Main system is called HYDSTRA

    Training and documentation was designed and facilitated for DWS at project go live and during the maintenance phase of the project. Project management, reporting and client liaison were also part of my responsibilties.
