Cathy Rankin is an established, multi-format, entertainment personality with a career spanning over 25 years. Her credits include lead and guest star roles in film, television, hosting, VO and print. Her marketing background adds to her brand, giving her the ability to contribute behind the scenes with expertise in branding, messaging, writing/editing and promotions. As an entertainment host, Cathy has worked on many red carpets and national and local programs covering and interviewing celebrities from sports, music, film and TV. She’s been a featured host and interviewer for major events including NFL Superbowl VIP Parties, Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night, the Intel International Science Awards, and the Sports Emmy Awards where her Monday Night Football skit with Leslie Nielsen was nominated for “Best Opening Promo.” In business, Cathy is a proven spokesperson with national and regional shows and infomercials that have generated over $300M dollars for clients. She works regularly with corporate organizations, executives, authors and media companies on projects designed to educate and inform end users and clients, while prioritizing charity-oriented ventures that give back. This diversity of entertainment and corporate experience gives Cathy the ability to relate, in any genre, to both interview subjects and audiences with a down to earth style and humor on a wide variety of topics, while helping brand and promote her client’s products or services. When not busy on client projects, Cathy’s been able to pursue one of her biggest passions – music – as a singer and performer. Influenced from a young age by her Grandparents and sister who were working musicians, she’s enjoyed collaborating with fellow artists for over 15 years. She performs weekly as lead vocalist for two popular event bands, Superhero and Daisy Train, that headline for casinos, clubs, festivals and Fortune 500 companies. As a Co-Producer and Host for various music projects and clients, she’s conducted in-depth interviews with artists such as John Waite, Lita Ford, Puddle of Mudd, RATT, and more. Currently, Cathy is the official co-host for the Metal Hall of Fame with Eddie Trunk, as well as host of the annual Bubba Bash in honor of Neil Peart. In 2024, Cathy made her original music debut, releasing her first single, “Now You’ve Gone,” featuring award winning musicians, Ken Mary (Alice Cooper) and David Ellefson (Megadeth). The song made Apple Music’s “Breaking Hard Rock” playlist, and Cathy was signed as an independent artist to the Deko Entertainment Record Label. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and giving back to Military Veterans through charity projects, which is a deeply personal commitment.
