About
Hi, I’m Szentgyörgyi Csaba. I’m a PHP backend developer specializing in robust and scalable web applications. Since 2015 I’ve helped domestic and international clients design, build, and support back-end systems, with a particular fondness for e-commerce and data-driven integrations.
I’m highly autonomous, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating to speed up delivery while mentoring teammates. I love learning new technologies to improve outcomes and keep delivering solid results for customers.

Accomplishments: improved marketing tool integrations, iterated on CI/CD pipelines to improve developer experience, shifted load on our data store topology to unburden the main server. I provided development assistance to our tech support team, tracked down and fixed difficult bugs, measurably improving customer satisfaction, and helped onboarding of less experienced team members. I also took over maintenance of an integration with a financial service provider, provisioning a new test environment and running an end-to-end test mandated by their terms of service.
Maintenance on legacy code base, introduced new features to the ATS (applicant tracking system); researched and documented neglected components to kickstart revitalization (job notification subscription); compiled statistics for business intelligence.
Designed and implemented a trading window system to ensure regulatory compliance; built a system for tracking legal contracts and integrated it with access control; standardized pricing data presentation across API endpoints; implemented several bug fixes and improvements before product launch.
