Education Department Assistant at Mississippi Museum of Art
July 1, 2025 - Present
Coordinates with Teaching Fellows and staff to ensure tours, workshops, and school group details are communicated and prepared in advance. Coordinates family programming, including monthly Look & Learn, quarterly Family Days, and monthly Museum After Hours for multigenerational audiences. Manages logistics for public programs such as Music in the City, Art Nights, Museum After Hours, and exhibition-related programs. Provides program content and detailed descriptions to the Marketing department quarterly in consultation with Education staff. Manages contracts and payment requests for guest presenters/performers. Creates social graphics for events and programming.
