GNOLL - Shape Sketch

Testing my shape-based workflow on a more complex piece - this time no symmetry!

Readability is a big deal in any kind of design and needs to be taken very seriously when approaching a fantasy character.
If you don’t get what it is at a glance, chances are you’re missing something important.

Working as a graphic designer as well as an illustrator really is a perk, because the priniciples of both disciplines synergize very well.
