Hello, My name is Daniel Aggerstam, living in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have worked as a system developer for about 27 years, it has been a natural path for me, as I really enjoy programming because it is so creative, an art form. I discovered programming via the Commodore 64 home computer in the late 80s. There is a creative joy in development. About half of my professional years I have worked at product companies and the other half at consulting companies, so I have been in both worlds. I would describe myself as a backend developer with some frontend knowledge, as I occasionally worked in the role of full-stack developer at companies or in consulting assignments. Would like to continue doing this, like to have the breadth in both backend and frontend, if I have a choice. In terms of technology, I have been focused on Microsoft's Tech stack throughout the years, such as .NET, C#, Visual C++, MS SQL Server, WPF, etc. and when I have been working with the frontend it has mainly been involving JavaScript, Angular, React, XAML, HTML and CSS. I am open to new exciting opportunities, also looking for a long-term perspective, see a lot of advantages with a long-term perspective. You learn the products you work with in a deeper way and thereby gain more pride in what you do. You know what you will be working with for a longer time to come and you get to know your colleagues in a good way, you become a group of friends. Personally, I am a multitasker with very different interests, e.g. sailing, languages. I like both human languages and computer languages, which is very good to know because they open up the world to you and are excellent training for the brain. I think science is very fascinating and also history which is very interesting to enrich oneself with. I listen a lot to several different podcasts in these areas in combination with doing other things, such as mountain biking. Have a nice day! Daniel
