About
I’m Daria Matova, a 2D artist and illustrator based in Vilnius, specializing in character-driven, atmospheric fantasy artwork. I create book-cover illustrations, character designs, and posters by turning written briefs and story mood into clear visual storytelling—always focusing on composition, color, and lighting to guide the viewer’s eye to the most important details.
I enjoy the full creative workflow: researching references, developing concept sketches, iterating with client feedback, and producing final layered artwork ready for professional use. With a computer science background and formal art education, I bring both structured problem-solving and strong artistic craft to every project—from initial concept to polished delivery.
