I am an Argentine-born guitarist and composer with seven albums and an extensive performance history. Improvisation is the cornerstone of my research, improvisational and performance work, serving as the primary platform where elements from Argentine folk traditions engage in a dialogue with the diverse musical languages I have cultivated over a lifetime of study and professional practice. I have developed an analytical approach to music that is grounded in an ever-deepening understanding of the structural elements and an extensive knowledge of music theory. My personal sound and academic enquiry lie in employing these fundamentals as scaffolds to support and empower liberated artistic expression. This approach aims for music shaped by the interplay of the moment. Each iteration of a piece takes on a distinctive character and is organically different every time it comes to life. Furthermore, I am fascinated by the complexity and richness of Latin American music and am excited to expand its presence in academic circles.
