Dasha’s filmmaking education began in 2022 at MET FILM School in Berlin, where she earned a Master’s in Documentary and Factual Film Directing. Earlier in 2021, at Gogol School in Moscow, she explored stage acting and physical theatre and took part in various performances. Dasha’s academic pursuits also included a Bachelor’s in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan and various short courses.
Dasha’s filmography as a director includes documentary and commercial projects mainly focused on local communities or personal stories. «It Will Hurt», 2023, a poetic documentary about pain and BDSM was screened in Doc.Berlin and other festivals. In the spring of 2023 she made an image film for «Buhnen im Haus Der Statistik», a Berlin-based performance collective, and in the autumn of 2023 she directed a promotional video for the European Film Awards.
The filmography as a producer includes a music video «All I Can» by 70nalee, 2023, and «Tripping Over Guns» by Philipp Thimm, 2022, (line producer). Dasha also produced and co-directed a heist-comedy «Must Watch» in 2023.
Dasha works with other visual arts mediums. In 2022 she curated a personal film photography exhibition «Moscow. A collection of essays». She also delved into the world of poetry with zines like “Dialogue” (2020) and “Stop. Tension” (2021).
