Developed complex and dynamic simulation environments for the advancement of Audi & Volkswagen’s highly automated driving functions, primarily using C++. Took ownership for the hardware-in-the-loop testing of four Audi driving functions and established detailed test catalogues, implementing 100% of the desired requirements for each function across multiple stringent development cycles. Collaborated in cross-functional agile software development teams and with clients within the Volkswagen network in order to meet start of production deadlines for new vehicle models.

Researched and tested a prototype electric motor in an industrial production facility. Benchmarked the motor against conventional industrial electric motors and presented metrics, such as 20% greater power density, to the electrification solutions team. Project results proved viability of the technology and promoted further development of the prototype motor.

Requested by a professor to continue the development and implementation of a remotely-operated teaching laboratory concept for an educational robot system: project involved computer vision and object detection. Designed and prototyped improvements for the robotics system to implement it into the teaching framework for students and consistently delivered progress results and updates to the team.
