Book: Maria Reciclona

Maria Reciclona is a children’s picture book in poetic form, entirely written and illustrated by me. Through rhythmic, playful verses, the story introduces Maria, a creative girl who transforms discarded objects into treasures, teaching children about recycling, creativity, and sustainability in an imaginative and joyful way.

The illustrations feature a vibrant, expressive style that enhances the poetic flow, bringing warmth and movement to each page. Every visual element—color palette, textures, and composition—was carefully crafted to resonate with young readers and complement the lyrical tone of the text.

This project combines poetry and visual storytelling to create an engaging, educational experience that inspires children to see beauty and possibility in everyday materials, encouraging a deeper connection with nature and environmental responsibility.
