    paper Retrograde Wear

Retrograde Wear is an ongoing, non-linear narrative told through fashion, memory, and cultural remixing.

This project explores what it means to move forward by intentionally looking back—drawing from retro video games, anime, streetwear, athletic silhouettes, and the lived experience of growing up inside pop culture. It is not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake, but a reconstruction of past influences into something functional, modern, and wearable in the present.

Structured like a branching Twine story, Retrograde Wear has no definitive ending. Each passage represents a moment in time: a collection, a design choice, a reference, a mood. Some paths are loud and expressive, others quiet and utilitarian. Winter themes of survival, layering, and resilience recur often—because warmth, like culture, is something you build and protect.

Choices matter here. Different paths highlight different identities:

    the arcade kid,

    the anime fan,

    the street runner,

    the creative hustler,

the person who remembers where they came from and refuses to discard it.

Not all references are explained. Some links only resonate if you’ve been there before. Others serve as entry points for newcomers, inviting them to discover meaning over time. Like memory itself, some paths loop, some fade, and some evolve when revisited.

Retrograde Wear is versioned, not finished. Older ideas are patched, refined, or recontextualized. New drops act as narrative updates rather than chapters, adding depth to an ever-growing world instead of closing it.

This Twine project mirrors the brand’s core belief:
that identity is built through repetition, reinterpretation, and choice—and that what you wear can be a record of the story you’re still writing.

You are not here to reach an ending.
You are here to choose what you carry forward.

    paper D-Port Studios

D-Port Studios is a living, branching creative project where design, storytelling, and execution converge.

Presented as an interactive Twine narrative, this project reflects how D-Port Studios actually works: no two clients take the same path, but every path leads to a clear, intentional result. Logos, illustrations, animations, web experiences, game assets, and visual systems are not treated as isolated deliverables—they are story nodes connected by strategy, culture, and purpose.

Each passage represents a service, a process, or a solved problem:

    brand identities built to last,

motion and animation designed to communicate, not decorate,

game and pop-culture visuals grounded in usability and clarity,

websites and digital spaces engineered for both style and function.

The branching structure is intentional. Clients arrive with different goals, budgets, timelines, and audiences. D-Port Studios adapts without losing cohesion. Whether you need a single logo refinement or an entire visual ecosystem, the narrative reshapes itself around your needs.

This Twine project also documents experience. With over a decade of professional work behind it, D-Port Studios draws from freelance production, studio pipelines, indie games, fashion, comics, and interactive media. You’ll encounter references to real projects, real constraints, and real outcomes—because good design doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

There is no “correct” route through this story.
Some paths highlight bold creative direction.
Others focus on reliability, communication, and delivery.
All of them prioritize clarity, professionalism, and results.

This project is not a portfolio you scroll through—it’s a system you explore.
Clicking a link is not a detour; it’s how progress happens.

D-Port Studios exists for clients who want more than visuals.
It’s for those who want their ideas understood, structured, and brought to life—one deliberate choice at a time.
