    paper Reimagined Book Covers - Personal Project

    This year I’ve been reading more in my free time, and the one thing that consistently gets on my nerves is the seal on the cover that reads, “NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE” or “WATCH NEW SERIES ON NETFLIX” coupled with a still from the show or movie. The seal printed on the book is ugly and I always feel that the still images chosen for the cover never does the piece of media justice. (I mean, my copy of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road has a cover of just Viggo Mortinsen’s face on it with “WATCH THE ROAD ON BLU-RAY”; something must be done.) I’ve made it my personal project to reimagine these book covers to save myself from these eyesores. Images are all 8"x11". This personal project is still ongoing, and I will be updating the project here as it comes along. Images are also posted on my drawing portfolio found
