I am an Algonquin/French artist from Pikwàkanagàn First Nation, practicing primarily in digital illustration, beadwork, and textile artistry. I grew up on and around my reserve, close to my culture and community. My family was affected by the Millennium Scoop, and I built Eagle Woman Arts as an outlet for self-expression and to push traditional and modern creative practices forward. I also use this platform for fundraising and community work, believing these gifts should be shared. One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been teaching others to bead and make leather mittens, particularly with women coming out of incarceration. Expanding into the digital space has allowed me to grow my body of work, create large-scale pieces, produce small-batch prints, and diversify outputs across multiple apps.
