I've spent over 30 years playing, recording, and touring with artists ranging from the obscure to household names. Touring highlights include a decade with Kelly Clarkson, another decade with The Fray, and runs with Gwen Stefani, All American Rejects, Reba, Pat Green, and The Dan Band. I've also collaborated on side projects with members of Tool, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and QOTSA; served as Stage Manager, Tour Manager, and Production Manager for various arena acts; and worked as Music Director for young artists through organizations including XIX, Why&How, and Red Light. In recent years I mentored Austin artists via the now-defunct Austin Music Foundation and helped launch the Artist Development Program, culminating in yearly releases produced and arranged with Chris "Frenchie" Smith. Over 30 artists released music through that opportunity. As a producer and especially an arranger, I enjoy focusing on the songwriter's vision and creating a consistent musical blueprint that travels with any lineup.
