    The Confessions of Ephesus

My own concept album, based on the Letter to the Ephesians. This was a faith-based project, focusing on a particular letter in scripture, “Ephesians”. The songs follow the letter, start to finish, in a summarized manner; roughly a journey through the letter. I wrote the music, created rough recordings, and sent these recordings along with charts to pro musicians & vocalists. I coordinated a recording session at my project studio, where the primary bulk of the entire album was recorded in one day.

Follow up production, of course, required several weeks. All instruments and vocals are real people. One exception is the third song, “Commander”, in which I created most of the music using an orchestral sound library. I performed the lead, as well as all male backing vocals (effect vocals and dialogue are other people).
