Musical Direction & Saxophone: I contribute the primary melodic identity to the group. My saxophone work serves as the bridge between traditional musicianship and the collective’s modern aesthetic, providing a voice that is both expressive and technically disciplined.

Production & Engineering: I play a lead role in the “Sonic Architecture” of the collective. I oversee the translation of our live energy into the recorded medium, applying professional engineering standards to ensure our sound is cohesive, modern, and high-fidelity.

Brand & Creative Strategy: I am deeply involved in building the Hyper Fixation brand. My focus is on creating a distinct visual and sonic identity that reflects our commitment to minimalism and modern-vintage aesthetics, ensuring the collective stands out in a crowded musical landscape.

SHADES is a contemporary musical collective that blurs the lines between tradition and modern innovation. By combining the technical depth of jazz with the textures of modern production, we create a sonic environment that is both intellectually engaging and deeply rhythmic. My goal with this ensemble is to explore new musical frontiers, pushing the boundaries of genre through a collaborative spirit that emphasizes atmosphere, groove, and sophisticated harmonic structures.

My Role and Contributions
As a core member of the collective, I serve a multifaceted role that bridges the gap between live performance and studio precision. My influence is felt through three primary channels:

Visionary Leadership: In my capacity as co-band leader, I am instrumental in shaping our artistic direction. I help curate the repertoire and guide our creative evolution, ensuring that every performance reflects a cohesive and forward-thinking aesthetic.

Sonic Architecture: Serving as a producer, I am responsible for the group’s “recorded identity.” I apply my technical expertise to blend our organic instrumental takes with modern audio engineering, ensuring the final output has a polished, professional sound that resonates in a digital-first landscape.
