    paper Hollywood Channel Portugal – On-Air Promo

    On-air promo produced for Hollywood Channel Portugal during my internship at BillyBoom Sound Design. I recorded and edited the voice-overs, handled all audio post-production, and added sound design to enhance sections delivered with only dialogue and music. Using sound libraries, I created FX layers to support transitions, highlight action cues, and sync with the timing of visual cuts.

    Created for Spitfire Audio’s 2022 Scoring Competition, this piece was written to a scene from Bridgerton. Inspired by the waltz-like rhythm of the moment, I shaped the score around flowing textures and subtle shifts in tone, aiming to mirror the scene’s emotion and pacing. Every melodic and timbral change was timed to follow the characters’ movements — blending elegance with a soft, dreamlike atmosphere.

    Heavily inspired by the early sound of Billie Eilish, this beat leans into dark pop textures with a delicate, cinematic edge. Layered glockenspiels, celestas and colorful pizzicatos weave through the mix, contrasting sweetness with unease. Glitchy ear candy and subtle stereo movement help shape a sense of space and tension, while the off-centered rhythm gives the beat a slightly waltzy, unpredictable swing — like something Finneas might craft in a quiet moment.

    Built on retro-style synths, dusty drums and warm textures, this beat sits somewhere between The Weeknd’s cinematic mood and Logic’s clean, grounded flow. The goal was to recreate a darker atmosphere using vocal pad samples and ethereal textures, inspired by After Hours and Starboy, while keeping the chopped elements and faster-paced bounce found in Logic’s production style.
