Hello! My name is Gonzalo Cañedo, and I was born in Mexico City, where I lived until I moved to Toronto to study Film Production at York University. After graduating, I returned to Mexico to further my career in various facets of video production. I have had the opportunity to work as a live video editor for ESPN, focusing on their broadcast programs, and have also contributed to several startup production companies specializing in advertisements and commercials for well-known brands. Throughout my career, I have been involved in major campaigns for prestigious clients such as Chanel, Fox Sports, Warner Bros, and Givenchy, among others. I initially started as a video editor, but over the years, I have expanded my expertise to include motion graphics, 3D animation, screenwriting, and even managing post-production teams for specific advertising projects. I am proficient with the entire Adobe Suite and also skilled in using Final Cut, Cinema 4D, and Pro Tools. More recently, I have written and planned marketing campaigns for significant launches, including the latest Mortal Kombat game and a Super Bowl promotional campaign for Fox Sports in Mexico.
