I have just completed a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture at AFDA, and before that, I completed a Diploma in Film and Television Techniques at CityVarsity in Cape Town, South Africa. I majored in Producing during my time at CityVarsity where I gained the skills and knowledge of a Producer and 1st Assistant Director. I also learnt about Directing, Scriptwriting, Editing and Cinematography. I majored in Editing during my time at AFDA where I gained the knowledge and understanding of Avid Media Composer, and Da Vinci Resolve. In furthering my technical skills, I am especially keen on developing colour grading expertise. I have gained the intermediate skills of a DIT (Digital Image Technician) and am comfortable transcoding the format, type and codec required for the designated software. I thrive best when I am in the editing studio, and enjoy contributing to every facet of a production. I am a humanitarian at heart and I love helping people make a difference in the world. As a member of a student body council, I was able to support my fellow students by maintaining a healthy working environment and aid the students with any issues regarding our learning curriculum.
