About the Brand
Faithful to Nature is an online health and wellbeing retailer founded in 2006 with a mission to make honest, ethical shopping accessible to everyone. As pioneers in the industry, they introduced the world’s first ingredient policy — a vetting system that ensures every product on their site meets the highest standards of transparency and sustainability.
Today, customers can choose from over 9,000 consciously curated products, filtered through more than 50 “values” to match their dietary, lifestyle, and ethical preferences.
The brief
Faithful to Nature planned a design refresh of their website — the heart of their business and their primary revenue driver. Following a brand rebirth in 2020 (which introduced a new logo, refreshed copy, photography, and campaigns), this project aimed to take the digital experience to the next level.
While I had contributed to the earlier rebrand, this brief was something new — an opportunity to evolve the website itself: refining its usability, elevating its visual identity, and ensuring that every design choice supported a smoother, more inspiring shopping journey.

Resolving Complex Problems and Identifying Unique Challenges
Before diving into design, I collaborated closely with the in-house product designer, who mentored me through a rigorous research process. Together, we uncovered the unique challenges and opportunities shaping the user experience — from helping customers prioritize product ingredients to guiding them seamlessly toward confident purchasing decisions.
This process deepened my understanding that web design goes far beyond aesthetics. It’s about solving complex problems, bridging user pain points, and ensuring that every visual decision serves a functional purpose. Once those challenges were resolved, the design’s visual language naturally followed.

At the core of this project was a steadfast focus on the user. Every page was designed with intention — ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and memorable journey from the first click to checkout.
