Hi there, I’m Euan Cowie, a Full Stack Engineer who translates high-performance backend systems into intuitive user-facing products. I’ve built end-to-end platforms for mission-critical deployments, from GPU-accelerated compute and data pipelines to scalable microservices and secure, robust architectures.
I enjoy mentoring junior engineers, guiding teams through complex challenges, and delivering reliable software that scales. I’m passionate about collaborating with product and design to create experiences that are both fast and delightful.
Grassroots Gateway is an all-in-one coaching platform for grassroots football coaches. It helps coaches access drills, plan training sessions, and build better experiences for their players. The platform brings practical coaching tools and community support into one simple place, making it easier for volunteer and grassroots coaches to save time, improve sessions, and feel more confident on the pitch.

For players, ClickPlay removes the hassle of searching across Google, WhatsApp, Instagram, and outdated websites. For venues, it creates a better way to get discovered, receive enquiries, and turn local demand into bookings.
Led high-performance backend work on the Golem Engine, a CUDA-based GWAS kernel that processes 500,000+ sample cohorts on consumer GPUs; optimized memory access patterns and VRAM usage to maintain performance while outperforming cloud equivalents.
Designed an end-to-end platform architecture including React client portals for researchers and a Rust/C++/gRPC control plane with secure job dispatch and real-time result visualization; improved deployment speed and reliability.
Led the development of the 'French Tax Law' compliance module for Tier-1 private banking clients; modernized to a Spring/Kubernetes microservices architecture; decoupled critical reporting components to improve system scalability and fault tolerance.
