I have been working as a Director of Photography for the last 14 years.
I have previously worked with clients including Amazon, Netflix, Hallmark, and the BBC to name a few.
I am a full member of IATSE 667 in Canada, as well as an associate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.
My most recent work
To date I have shot a total of 13 features ranging in budget from micro up to $20m. Numerous TV series including ‘The Way Home’ for Hallmark/Netflix, and most recently, two Amazon Original Documentary series.
Alongside cinematography, I have been working sporadically as a Director, with my debut documentary feature, ‘Our Planet, The People, My Blood’ currently on its festival run. This film was recently screened in the UK parliament, gaining cross party support for the subjects cause.
Previously, I ran True Perspective VR, which shot commercial and narrative 360 films for clients including the BBC, HBO, BT Sport, Fiji Airways, Vodafone and FIFA. During this time he achieved multiple worlds firsts in the mixed reality space, and helped develop camera rigs that have been used by large scale productions for VFX capture ever since.
Previous accolades include a nomination for a CSC award for my short film, ‘Challenger’, as well as multiple film festival wins and nominations for films including ‘From the Thunder’, ‘Purgatory Jack’ and ‘Humanity’.
I am a British and Canadian citizen with residential status in both.
