I am currently volunteering in a local commercial studio but am looking for paid music work alongside this. I am interested in working on a diverse range of projects with artists from different genres. Music has always been a significant part of my life since I started playing piano with my Dad when I was three. I ended up leaving that behind when I picked up the guitar, aged eight. When I was fifteen, I co-wrote, performed on, mixed, mastered and released an album with my friend. This is when I started getting interested in the studio aspect of music. I then studied Music and Music Technology at A-level where I used a professional grade studio, before beginning my Music degree at the University of Southampton. It was in my second and third years at university where I really discovered how much I enjoy working in a studio. I spent hundreds of hours, especially in third year, recording with my current band (Cargo Cult) and working on my own projects across multiple genres. Since then, my band and I have been playing gigs in London at venues such as The Dublin Castle and, most recently, The Star Of Kings. I have extensive composition experience from both my degree and personal work. I have written in many styles and genres from classical all the way to drum and bass. Therefore, I am confident that I can produce whatever is needed for your project. I have attached my CV and would be grateful to be considered for this role.
